Female Sovereignty
Women's equality and rights has become increasingly more important throughout my life as I listen to the struggles of the women around me, and reflect upon my own. I have just recently,
in the past 2 years, come out of my shell and have begun to stand up for what I care about. For me this involves the stories I tell with my art, which is generally an easier way for me to communicate my feelings.
Goddesses
This Is Me
"This Is Me" was inspired by works created by Mary Cassatt and Georgia O'Keeffe. It is a reflection on the scars that women carry, as well as the beauty and strength that these scars hold.

V Flag
This digital piece was created using a a variety of techniques including woodblock printing and photocopying. It is a representation and reminder of the power that women have held
throughout history and continue to hold today. It is also a statement in regard to the sensitivity and stereotypes we have about the female body when compared to the male body.

Behind the Veil, Yet She Persisted
I created these pieces during a particularly dark time in my life when I was experiencing a low in my struggle with anxiety and depression. Each element of the still life is a representation of this
struggle and some of the cooping mechanisms I employ to achieve equilibrium in my mental health

Selfie
"Selfie" is a self portrait that was a representation of my connection with nature. It uses several printmaking techniques including woodblock printing and stamp making. I was also inspired by the chine-collé technique and used colored tissue paper to create texture in the piece.

Self Portrait
This piece was a practice in linoleum block printmaking and the creation of line, contrast, and pattern with the medium. I also used stamp making to create a fun border.

Haus Segen
"Haus Segen," or House Blessing, was inspired by traditional Dutch Frakturs. This piece was created for my mom. Since her divorce it has been just the two of us, and when she moved into
a new home I wanted to create something that would bring positive energy into the space.
Every single element within this fraktur has a symbolic meaning and the prayer was created using
a combination of traditional prayers.
