Nature Reflections

Nature has always been a big part of my life.  For this reason my art often involves the representation of animals, plants, and landscapes. The following pieces are my reflections on the natural world.

Flower 60

"Flower 60" was a practice in linoleum cut suicide prints and was inspired by floral patterns of the 1960s.

Pirate Cat

"Pirate Cat" is another practice in linoleum cut suicide prints and was inspired by my one eyed cat.

The Farm

This landscape is an ink drawing of my family farm.  My family has owned this farm for three generations and it taught me a great deal about nature and animals.

Coyote

Coyote's are often viewed upon as tricksters and terrifying creatures.  However, they are also family oriented animals and survivalists.  I choose to depict both the tough and beautiful side of this creature.
