The ARTS Council
The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes is an organization located in Corning, NY that
is dedicated to serving both artists and the communities of Schuyler, Steuben, and Chemung counties. My role at the council began as an intern and grew into a paid position as a programs assistant. Though my role includes many tasks, graphic design jobs are often incorporated in
to my day to day duties. Below are just a few examples of the work I have completed in my short time at the council.
Business of Art
The Business of Art program consists of a group of workshops that are offered to both artist members and non-members. I was assigned with creating both a postcard and a brochure to be used are informative promotional materials.

The Writers Block
The Writers Block is a program that takes place every other month and highlights a different writer at each event. Promotional materials used to highlight this even includes a brochure, a poster,
a website banner to be feature on eARTS.org, a Facebook event graphic, and an Instagram graphic.

FLX Gives Video
The following video was made as a promotional material for The ARTS Council's finger Lakes Gives page. The campaign is used to generate funding for non profits in the Finger Lakes region. The video features Micah, the gallery dog, and some facts about The ARTS Council.
Poets in Play
Poets in Play is the counter program to The Writers Block. Like The Writers Block,
promotional materials for Poets in Play includes a brochure and a Facebook graphic that advertise the artists that will be featured during the series.

The following are Facebook graphics for two programs offered by The ARTS Council.
The ReCreate It program is an upcycling competition that benefits our local Habitat for
Humanity, and Muslim Journeys is a four month long book group series.
Annual Campaign Stickers
The Annual Campaign is coordinated in order to raise awareness and funds for The
ARTS Council. This year part of this campaign involved the creation of stickers that would be given as thank yous to donors.

Game of Telephone
Game of Telephone was an exhibition presented by The ARTS Council that combined the written word with visual stories. This postcard was one of my first projects with the council, and involved the creation of an event graphic as well as support graphics.
